Frequently asked questions about presentation training.
What is presentation training?
Coaching for speeches, keynotes, conference sessions and panels. It covers what you say first, then how you deliver it: structure, storytelling, nerves and body language.
Is this different from media interview training?
Yes. Media interview training is built around short, often challenging exchanges. Presentation training is built around holding an audience for longer, where structure and storytelling matter as much as any single line.
Can training be built around a specific event, like an upcoming keynote?
Yes. Sessions are built around the event you are actually preparing for, rather than generic public speaking advice.
I get very nervous. Is that a problem?
No. Nerves are the normal starting point rather than a sign you are bad at this, and a good deal of the session is about putting them to work instead of trying to suppress them.
Do you rehearse the actual presentation?
Yes, where there is one to rehearse. Working on the real thing, to the real time limit, is more useful than a made-up exercise.
