Crisis Simulation

A crisis playing out through the media and the digital eye, exposing the weak spots and testing your frontline spokespeople before anyone else does.

Will your team really know how to embed communications when the proverbial really hits?

We will simulate a crisis unfolding through the media and digital eye. Discover your weak spots and understand how to plug the gaps whilst uncovering who your frontline spokespeople could be. Understand what to communicate, when and how, to be seen as responsive, appropriate and in control.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions about crisis simulation.

What is crisis simulation training?

A rehearsed exercise that simulates a crisis unfolding through the media and digital eye, testing your spokespeople and leadership team’s decision-making and message discipline before a real crisis hits.

What will we learn?

The session uncovers your weak spots and helps you understand how to plug the gaps, whilst identifying who your frontline spokespeople could be. You’ll understand what to communicate, when and how, to be seen as responsive, appropriate and in control.

Who should take part?

Anyone likely to be a spokesperson in a real crisis, plus the leadership team responsible for sign-off and decision-making during one.

How is this different from general media training?

General media training builds core interview skills. Crisis simulation adds time pressure, a developing scenario and real decisions about what to communicate and when, testing your team under conditions closer to a real crisis.

Does the session include a debrief?

Yes. Every simulation is followed by feedback on what worked, where messaging could be tightened, and how the decision-making process could move faster.
