This notice explains how Jawsmith Training collects and uses personal data, and how cookies and similar technologies are used on jawsmith.com.

Who we are

Jawsmith is the trading name of Hilary Jeffs, a sole trader based at Holly Gate House, Limbourne Lane, Fittleworth, RH20 1HR. VAT Number: 218 3002 49. Contact: hello@jawsmith.com.

Cookies and analytics

jawsmith.com uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, and how visitors move between them. Both tools may set cookies or use similar technologies, and may process data outside the UK/EEA under their respective data processing terms.

Neither is used for analytics unless you agree. On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Until you do, Microsoft Clarity does not load at all, and Google Analytics runs in its consent mode with analytics storage switched off, so it sets no analytics cookies (Google may still receive basic signals that a page was viewed, without cookies or identifiers). You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie choices” at the foot of every page.

Storage in your browser

Your cookie choice is remembered in your own browser. So is anything you type into the free tools, and the ticks on the checklists, in our guides and tools section. This information stays on your device: it is not sent to Jawsmith or anyone else. You can remove it with the clear buttons in each tool, or by clearing your browser data. If a tool offers to record your voice, the recording stays in your browser and is discarded when you leave the page.

Enquiries and correspondence

If you contact Jawsmith by email, the information you provide is used only to respond to your enquiry and is not added to a mailing list or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to request corrections, to ask for data to be deleted, and to object to how it’s used. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@jawsmith.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your data has been handled incorrectly.
